This edition of Coffee with Comrades is pivoting to support striking Starbucks workers at the Starbucks on the Capitol Square. Workers at the Capitol Square location are on strike from Wednesday, May 14 to Saturday, May 17 to demand their employer come to the bargaining table in good faith. They are also standing up against recent changes to the company's dress code and enforcement policy which are not only illegal but also threaten the jobs of many workers who are now prohibited from expressing themselves authentically while at work.
